Bueno, este lo terminé hace como 15 días, pero es mi primer sweater!!!

I finished this like 15 days ago, and it's my first sweater!!!

Estoy bastante orgullosa de él, y lo pude haber terminado como en semana y media, pero había un error en el patrón en las mangas y pos no me dí cuenta a tiempo... para cuándo me decidí a deshacerlas y volverlas a tejer, ya había pasado dos semanas :)

I'm really proud of him, Actually I could've finished in week and a half, but the pattern in the sleeves had a error and I didn't realize in time, so... when I finally ripped the sleeves 2 weeks have passed.

Me encanta el cuello!!, no tengo una buena foto de los otones, pero como no encontré unos que me gustaran  terminé haciéndolos yo

I love the neck!!, i didn't found bottons that I like so I ended doing them also.

Los detalles están en ravelry sólo una nota del estambre, usé Katia Austral y la verdad es que por un tiempo pensé que no lo iba a usar nunca, no me gustaba mucho como se veía tejido con una sola hebra, lo había comprado para hacer este chaleco, hasta que me dí cuenta de que nunca lo voy a usar, pero aquí lo teji doble y me gustó bastante!

Just a note in the yarn, I used Katia Austral and I didn't like it knitted with only one strand, but in the sweater I knit with two and I really like it!, details in ravelry.

Porqué nadie me advirtió que los calcetines tejidos a mano eran taan cómodos?, esto no ayuda con mi nueva manía de tejer calcetines, lo bueno es que no tengo estambre para calcetines por aquí, lo malo es que necesito tener estambre para calcetines aquí a la mano :(. Hoy usé por primera vez mis potamous y son increíblemente cómodos!!! y ahora que ya no tengo mi beca de maestría, alguien me quiere decir cómo voy a comprar el estambre de calcetines??? sobre todo si hay que pedirlo por internet.... tendré que encontrar a alguien para que la compré por mí, ven hasta para eso son necesarios los novios, así que es una cosa más en mi lista...

Who would've said that a pair of hand-knitted socks could be sooo comfy??, nobody told me that!!, that doesn't help with my new found mania of knitting socks, the good news it's that I don't have sock yarn laying around here, the bad news it's that I need sock yarn laying around here... That means that today I wore my pomatomus and they are really comfy, now I need to buy more sock yarn, bad thing my scolarship it's over, what a girl it's going a do?

I need to find somebody to buy it for me, a boyfriend could be a solution, but that's just adding one more item to the list...

Me tardé un buen rato en hacerlos, pero son bastante necesarios cuándo son las 2 de la mañana, hace frío y estás programando en la compu, los detalles están en ravelry, pero básicamente los tejí en  4.5 mm dpn's y con un estambre de la marca Katia 'marathon' y están bastante cómodos! por cierto en esta foto también estoy presumiendo mi falda!!

It took a loong time to knit these, but they are really good for coding at 2 in the morning, details in ravelry, but basically they are knit in 4.5 mm dpn's and with Katia's 'marathon'. In this picture I'm showing my skirt!, I love it!

Started in may 16th, Finished in July 14th with almost one month without knitting. I loved this pattern and I may to knit this again!

Empezados el 16 de mayo, terminados el 14 de julio pero hubo un ínter de un mes casi sin tejer, me encantó tejerlos, tal vez lo vuelva a hacer!

the bad thing it's that I have to frog and re-knit the liesl sleeves, there was a error in the pattern, and I hadn't noticed it but now that I know I have to do it right.

Lo malo es que tengo que repetir las mangas del liesl, había un error en el patrón y la verdad es que no me había dado cuenta, pero ahora que lo se tengo que volverlas a hacer...

Soy bastante tímida, rayando a veces en lo antisocial, siempre he sido así, por ahora estoy en una "escuela de verano" en brownsville, texas (de 15 días) y para el colmo llegué un par de días tarde, así que no estuve en las presentaciones :(, mi asesor nos recomendó (por el momento somos 2 y pronto 3 alumnos suyos), que socializáramos e hiciéramos amiguitos, pues para no hacer el cuento largo lo estoy viendo virtualmente imposible.

Es extraño a veces como ciertas actitudes te pueden lastimar, incluso cuándo vienen de alguien que ni viene ni va, en este caso los "compañeritos", lo peor de ser así es el hecho de sentirse ignorado y excluido, creo que es algo en lo que voy a tener que trabajar con un poco más de dedicación.

No me gusta ser así, pero he estado intentando cambiar la mayor parte de mis 25 años y no puedo, patético no?
