World Nutella day

Hola!, paso rápido para decirles que hoy es el día mundial de Nutella, así que vayan a comer nutella en la forma que más les guste, y si no la han probado (lo cuál creo casi imposible porque es el relleno de los ferrero rocher dorados) por favor háganlo!!!

Con el frío que ha estado haciendo por acá (aunque nada comparado pa'las que estén por el norte) pues mis orejas están heladas, (y de hecho si se fijan en la foto pueden ver mi nariz roja de frío)

We have a cold wave (nothing like all you in the north but reaally cold for mexico city), and my ears are cold so I knit this (and you can see alittle of red cold nose in the photo)

El patrón es bastante sencillo y se teje super rápido, yo creo que en una tarde dedicada sale y trae opciones para orejeras y para banda para el cabello. Utilicé retazos de Berroco Ultra Alpaca, de Rebecca Pick Merino teñidos por moi y de Dolly sport rosa para el forro. Son súper calientitas así que recomiendo el patrón ampliamente!!

The pattern it's easy and very quick, I think that you can knit a pair in one dedicated afternoon it also has options for the earmuffs and for headband. I used some scraps of Berroco Ultra Alpaca, Rebecca Pick Merino and Dolly sport for the lining. They are very warm so I recommend the pattern!

En general creo que fue bastante decente, siento que no tejí tanto como hubiese querido, lo único que no puedo creer es que sólo haya tejido un chal en todo el año!!, eso es algo para cambiar este año.

In general terms I think I did well but I didn't knit all that I've wanted, the only thing I don't like it's that I only knit one shawl in the whole year, that's somehting I want to change this year.

Bolsas sin coser, calcetines sin terminar, un chal, un par de guantes y un gorro... el gorro le falta poco (mucho tiempo para tejer el 1o enero) el chal nomás no avanzo porque me cuesta mucho tejer el estambre (drops kid-silk) en agujas de metal sin mucha punta, pero espero que algún día lo termine (la verdad me niego a deshacerlo!), la perfect-purse yo creo que está en camino de ser deshecha, la verdad es que es pequeña y ya no estoy tan entusiasmada con ella, será mejor utilizar el estambre en otra cosa, lo que quiero tejer YA es el par de calcetines a rayas no creo que estén para mi fecha límite (27 en) pero al menos regalar uno será bueno, no?

Purses without sewing, a shawl that's really difficult to knit because of the combination yarn (drops kid-silk) an blunt metal needles, two pairs of socks, one of fingerless gloves and a tam, the tam it's like ~60 advanced (lots of knitting time in new years day) so I think it's on her way out, the perfect-purse it's on her way to frogging, it's small and I'm just not excited with her anymore, the stripped socks I want to finished (at least one so I can gift something) for the 27 jan.

Primero que nada, ésta bufanda que empecé en marzo:

Se la terminé regalando a mi madre en su cumpleaños que fue la semana pasada, le gustó bastante así que valió la pena hacer el grafting después de 5 meses (me paso!).

I finished the grafting last week so I could give it to my mom in her birthday, she liked it so it was worth the 5 month wait.

Y finalmente es que estoy cambiando el blog a wordpress, por el momento voy a estar publicando en los dos, y después voy a ver cómo redirigir el tráfico de aquí para allá (claro, voy a andar pidiendo ayuda), la dirección es la misma sólo en lugar de blogspot es wordpress.

Está feíto y todo, no espero ponerlo guapo hasta enero o algo así sólo quería irles comentando.

And I'm trying to migrate the blog to wordpress, at the momento I'll be publishing in both blogs, then I'm going to see if I can move the traffic from here to there, the url it's the same with wordpress instead of blogspot.

Era un festival de música electrónica pero la gran atracción (al menos para nosotros) era ver a Shpongle, un "dueto" pero en el set sólo tocó Simon Posford (el del vídeo) y no la otra parte Raja Ram, pero valió la pena, es muy bueno y en vivo pues todo se oye mejor :), y fue en un pueblo antes de querétaro y como se imaginarán hacía un frío de los mil demonios y pues el sweater+chamarra gruesa+guantes+gorro fueron necesarios

It was a electronic music festival, but the great atraction (for us) was seeing Shpongle, a "duet", but only played Simon Posford (in the video) and not Raja Ram, but it was worth it, he is good, and live sounded great. The festival was in a town that get really cold in the night so I used a combination of sweater+big jacket+gloves+hat and it was just ok.

Y ahora voy a empezar con los regalos navideños (ilusa de mí, ya lo sé), quiero tejer:

Son cosas pequeñas y están en orden de relevancia por aquello de los tiempos, el de mi madre es el último de ser necesario pongo el chal empezado en su regalo :), pero la Snapdragon tiene que estar para el 25 a fuerzas (es intercambio familiar).

They are all small things, and are in orden of time needed, the last onw it's for my mother, if necessary I can put the wip in her gift.
